How did you come up with your derby name?
I wanted something that was close to my name, but also descriptive of my Asian ancestry.
How and when did you get involved in roller derby?
I found ARRG on the internet after searching around for local derby when I learned of its then recent revival. I began in February of '06.
Any serious injuries?
Spiral compound fracture of my tibia/fibula April '08. I have a plate on my ankle and a titanium rod running from my knee to my ankle, and lots of screws.
Favorite position to play?
Blocker and pivot.
Worst penalty ever committed?
Elbows...very bad elbows.
Any pre-bout rituals?
I like to...you know...get limber.
What kind of skates and wheels do you roll on?
Riedell leather 595 boots, Sunlite nylon plate, Roll-Line Helium wheels and BSB speed bearings.
Most exciting moment in your derby career?
Hearing my daughters cheering me on.
Favorite derby players?
Artemischief and Overland Offender because they are great derby players who never take themselves too seriously and still visibly love the game for the fun of it.
What is your derby pet peeve?
Egos...big, princessy egos.
Favorite adult bevie?
Alcoholic bevie would be chilled SoCo and non-alcoholic is Tazo black Awake tea with heavy cream and lots of Splenda.
