How did you come up with your derby name?
I have a tattoo of a tomato on my chest. It just seemed natural.

How and when did you get involved in roller derby?
While peeing in the bathroom at the hi-pointe (rip) I saw a flyer on the back of the stall. I ripped it down and ran downstairs to tell pee-wee hurt'em that we HAVE to do this. "we can hit people," I said. At the next "practice" at rollercade her, I, miss lippy and Fo'shizzle m'lizzle showed up.

Any serious injuries?
Sue she gave me a separated rib. But nothing that's kept me from a game.

Do you have a rival on the track?
It used to be grave danger, but she doesn't bother me anymore. So I would say, if your not a Smashie or you're from another city you're on my shit list.

Favorite position to play?
Blocking of course

Worst penalty ever committed?
Ah yes, lets talk about this one... At a game against the M80s in 2007 I got so upset with how bad I was playing and how I kept getting sent to the box, I took off my helmet and threw it against the wall. Turns out you get ejected for that. My bad.

Any pre-bout rituals?
I go to the Soulard Farmers market to buy my weeks worth of veggies. Dance around my apartment while getting ready. Grab a semi healthy lunch and listen to music in the style of "London Calling" to get me pumped up but not worked up.

What kind of skates and wheels do you roll on?
I have NO idea. These skates are playing their 4th season! I got them for Christmas in 2005! Please feel free to donate money to help Tomato get new skates

Most exciting moment in your derby career? I can't pin down just one moment. There are so many things that are exciting, winning, giving autographs and being recognized out in public.

Favorite derby player? Would it be classless to say me? Well I'm gonna. ME!!

What is your derby pet peeve?
Bad reffing and cussing at me on the track.

Favorite adult bevie?
Bacardi Limon and cranberry juice, sparks and a Irish car bomb every know and then.
